Darco was sneaking into Professor Snape's potion lab, he plotting to his revenge on Potter. His father always told never let anyone show you up and make sure everyone knows who the on top. Luckily Snape said, he was going to be out on a very important busy and to make sure not to cause trouble.
Which means make sure the other three houses knows their place but don't get caught. So as he entered the lab, he quickly but quietly got work. He wanted to brew a potion to humiliate Potter. Why he didn't know any, he decided to mix together some of the rarest ingredients and see what happens. So after finishing his potion, he snuck out of the lab and back to the snake pit. He was think on how to get Potter to drink it.
