Chapter #10

This Is YOUR Fault!!!

Fury and humiliation burned through her as she as stormed through the Terrordrome, heading for Cobra Commander's personal area. Every bounce, every slosh of her enlarging breasts made her angrier and angrier. A pair of Crimson Guardsmen tried to stop her as she approached. She put the first one's head through a wall, his helmet the only thing keeping him from getting killed instantly (he would later give the armorer a huge tip after his concussion healed), and the second she used as a battering ram to smash open the door.

It was when she saw the old lady that she paused.

"Baroness here to see you, Commander," the Crimson Guardsman said dazedly from where he lay on the floor.

Cobra Commander nodded. "So I noticed. Permission to pass out granted." He mainly allowed it because it looked like he was about to faint anyway.

"Thank you, sir," the Guardsman said as he slumped over.

The old lady in the Cobra Trooper uniform giggled. "Fun stuff," she said.

"Who... who is this?" Baroness said, staring at the old woman. She seemed normal enough, but there was something oddly 'off' about her. She looked vaguely like Betty White, but not quite...

"This?" Cobra Commander said, gesturing to the old woman. "This is one of the 'workers' I mentioned."

"...The workers are old women?" Baroness asked.

Cobra Commander nodded. "Yeah. She just appeared in this outfit, but the rest will have other clothes. Since she's first, she'll be the coordinator. Adorable little old ladies who will bake and sell our cookies. They call themselves Grandmas, but that's not what they are," he said. For some reason, that particular phrasing filled her with dread. "I presume you have good reason for bursting into my private quarters unannounced?"

"I want to talk about what happened at the temple today," Baroness said.

"It's probably because the goddess Mokalsium chose her as her avatar," the old woman said.

Cobra Commander blinked. "...Wait, what?"

Baroness blushed brightly. "THAT is what I want to talk about."

The old woman snickered. "It's actually quite an honor. Mokalsium hasn't chosen an avatar in generations," she said.

"I do not CARE," Baroness said. "I am turning into a MILK COW! I will be useless as a spy if my breasts get too big and I grow horns! There has to be a way to fix this!!"

"Sorry," the old lady said. "No going back from this."

"There has to be a way!" Baroness demanded.

The old lady, who looked more and more amused, chuckled, shaking her head. "Nope. Plus side to this, though? You'll get worshipped once the temples start getting built," she said.

Baroness snarled angrily, looking ready to murder someone.

Cobra Commander, to his credit, looked embarrassed, despite the audible amusement in his tone. "Yeah, I didn't see this coming... Um... You'll get paid time off until we can figure out something to do."

Baroness decked him, storming off. The old lady stood up, looking at Cobra Commander's prone form, the metal mask dented from the force of the punch. "You do realize you deserved that, don't you?" she said.

Cobra Commander removed his mask and chuckled. "Oh, I deserve much worse," he said.
