"Come on girls, you're *burp* killing me!" Cheryl Blossom rolled her eyes and ran a hand through her long, red hair as she watched her cheerleading squad, the River Vixen's perform; however, despite being the captain of the squad, Cheryl was busy sitting on the bleachers and just barking out orders while cramming a bucket of chicken wings into her face.
Cheryl had never been the nicest or the most stable individual even before all this, but Jason Blossom's death had really done a number on her and she was desperate for a way to cope and the way that she found was just to eat; she had been eating with more gusto, it was like she forgot that anyone else existed and could see her just pigging out.
The bitchy cheerleader didn't really seem to be at all self aware of how her actions weren't inspiring confidence in the rest of the cheerleaders, Veronica Lodge and Betty Cooper gave each-other looks as Cheryl tore into another big bit of fried chicken as the crumbs and grease got around her mouth as Blossom stood up with an audible grunt and pointed at Betty.
"Cooper, I saw you and your new best friend there...you have anything you wanted to say?" Cheryl asked in a mockingly sweet tone, the fakest of fake smiles on her face as she casually licked her grease and chicken crumb covered fingers in an almost proud way as she got closer to Betty, the timid blonde not really being the type for confrontation.
But Veronica wasn't one to mince words as she came to defend her best friend as the former New York rich girl stepped in between the two and defended Betty with a remark of "Maybe, as the 'Queen Bee' here, you should be leading by example instead of stuffing your face." Veronica bit out as Cheryl just mockingly clutched her heart.
"Awww, how sweet, the former rich bitch is defending the Invisible Woman? Isn't that adorable?" as Cheryl got closer to Veronica in a confrontational manner and said "I'm grieving, this is how I grieve, I lost someone I loved more than life itself, Betty might not be able to work any pounds off...but I can. Now know your place and get back to work." Cheryl barked out as she smugly smirked at a scowling Veronica before even winking in an arrogant way and sauntering off to sit down and let her fried chicken feast digest.
