The life of a Hunter is a hard and lonely one. To say that you will never be accepted in polite company is an understatement. Even those who fight by your side will often look at you with suspicion. Hunters are not the heroes the Kingdom wants. But more often than not, they are the heroes the Kingdom needs.
But no Hunter comes out of the Academy ready to do battle with a Mindflayer Lich. As the saying goes, one must crawl before one can walk.
You've been assigned to get rid of a tribe of ghouls that have taken over the cemetery of a village just to the north of the capital. Destroying the tribe would be a minor nuisance for a veteran Hunter, but perfect training for a rookie Hunter accompanied by other recent Academy graduates,
