In wartime, the Royal Rangers lead the way. Rangers serve as scouts, mapping out the defenses of enemy troops and spying their movements. They also sabotage defense works and disrupt enemy supply lines.

In peacetime, Rangers serve three different purposes. They serve as agents of the King's Justice along the Royal Highways and in the Royal Forests. They provide the first line of defense against those marauding monsters and creatures who do not recognize the peace of men. And they keep an eye on peace time borders with neighboring kingdom.
