Returning Home

Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in.

It's been four years since you've been home. There's been some physical changes, of course. Four years of Academy training have eliminated any fat that your adolescence didn't. When you left your family's homestead, the hair on your face could be best described as scraggly. Now you are sporting a trimmed beard.

But the most important change has been internal. Before you left, your family's homestead was your entire world. Your time at the Academy has shown you just how big the world can potentially be.

As you leave the small town closest to your family's farm, the first person you meet on the road to your family's homestead is
