Amy turned down the baby isle while grocery shopping. Moments like these gave her a peaceful moment away from her family but also reminded her just how much she did for them. As she scanned the shelves of diapers for her youngest something odd caught her eye.
A particular brand she’d never seen before. They were called Swoddlers, little ones and looked pretty generic for baby diapers but it was the slogan on the front of the package that made her do a double take. “The diapers you’d want to wear” the mother muttered under her breath as a strange curiosity took hold of her. She picked up the package with both hands, wondering what it would be like to feel the same softness between her legs as she did between her fingers now. Could she really pull off these prints and patterns? Well of course she could, she’d look good in anything and she’d be adorable in these.
“Have you ever tried these” Amy turned and asked another woman who was comparing baby bottles, showing her the diapers.
“Huh, oh yeah. They’re alright” the fellow mother nodded “I got them for my baby once. He seemed to like them well enough”
“No that’s not what I mean” Amy shook her head “have You ever tried them. Like on yourself” she reiterated, pointing at the woman’s crotch this time
“What? No I don’t… I’m potty trained so…” the other mom trailed off a couple of times as a blush only grew across her face until she finally spat out “I’m a grownup so I can’t do that!”
‘Hmm, she did have a point’ Amy thought as she turned to look back at the package, these diapers wouldn’t fit her. And while her mind failed to recall a reason why she shouldn’t put on a diaper as an adult woman it did come up with what seemed like a pretty good idea at the time. They did sell diapers for people with butts as big as hers. So with a rushed giddiness she loaded up her cart (maybe with a few too many things she wouldn’t have bought if her mind wasn’t in the slight fog it was now in) and made her way to her new destination.
After a moment Amy found where they kept all the grownup diapers. From there she quickly located a familiar yet different package. This one was called Swoddlers, big Princesses, which was perfect because she already saw herself as something of a princess. And on the front instead of a baby model on the front there stood a grown woman wearing nothing below the waist but the diapers she was advertising. And the slogan on this package read “the diapers you want to wear”.
