This choice: Go to April wanting to volunteer • Go Back...Chapter #5It’s School Assembly Time by: pedro01   It was Wednesday morning, which all means it’s another school assembly. Today, there’s a man who works for the laboratory, and he’s able to showcase some of the experiments he likes to try right in front of the students, so he wanted them to be amazed by it.
They were all gathered at the gym hall where it takes place, and they all watch the demonstration which the scientist was able to talk about each item, and used it to show these examples. It all happens when the man then says with a charming smile, as he moves on to make the next experiment of this programme.
“Okay, now for my next experiment, I will need a volunteer who would like to get subjected by it. Do we have any brave student to try this out?” The scientist wondered curiously.
He looked at the students, looking a bit nervous to try this out, not a single hand was raised. The man was gonna offer them more when one voice can be heard and the scientist can see who it was that raised it’s hand up excitedly.
“I’ll volunteer for you, mister?” That voice belong to April Baxter, a nine year old girl, who looked so eager to be part of this experiment.
In fact, she always volunteered to do some stuff, which she finds this as a blessing, something which the other students actually regretted taking up from the past. She’s a charming girl no a doubt, so she isn’t so bratty or bully type in some way, and so she would made her way towards the stage and gets to stand beside the scientist, wondering what he’s gonna be doing to her.
“Hello there, thanks for having you here for our next experiment.” The man acknowledged April before asking her name, so he would know. “So what’s your name, sweetie?”
“My name’s April Jones, and I’m very excited for it.” April replied with that cheerful smile.
“Of course you do, April!” The man chuckled before he would take something out from the box and shows April what item he’s about to use it on her?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
