Silver wins making Gold drop the plan

Despite Gold’s best efforts Silver was far more experienced in terms of fighting and used that to his advantage as the tenrac lost the idea of mind controlling the populace as both returned back to the present.
“What just...” Gold shook her head in confusion as she had no idea why she was there or how she got there but quickly noticed the mask she was holding and dropped it with disgust causing it to break in half upon landing. “The mask somehow took control of you again and I followed you here, it must’ve wanted you to find the council or something.” Silver lied through his teeth but it seemed she believed him. “Then I must thank you again great hero for being exactly what I needed at the right time...how could I ever repay you?” The end of that sentence seemed quite flirtatious as Silver caught on as he wrapped his arms around her as she was pulled in close as he smirked, “Oh I can think of a few ideas.” And with that they simultaneously went in for a kiss...

A few days later, unknown to the lovebirds, someone else took the mask, determined to execute the plan to brainwash the past without them.
