In retrospect, maybe you should of done something instead of just watching the legendary fly away. You wanted to respect it, since it was being friendly and playful. You’ve heard tales of Mew, and to be honest... you could of taken her.
If your first move was to whip out your Pokeball and challenge her, you could of beaten and then captured Mew.
You were after all, one of the best trainers in the world. You’ve travelled the land with your Pokemon. All of them being top level defeating Gym Leaders and Elite Fours everywhere you went. You have travelled to every region, and your Pokemon reflected on that strength.
Right now you were in Kalos, trying to catch a Flabebe. You’ve heard of their sizes, and you were interested in. Guess you were about that size right now.
You went into a sitting position, looking at the new world. You really should of tried catching her.
Wait... maybe you still can. Your Flygon, it’s a fast Pokemon! Of course it should be able to catch up to Mew.
With a smile you found that your Pokeball shrunk with you, so you unlatch it from your belt and you begin to toss it.
“Flygon, come on out!” You shout to your Pokemon. However, another problem rose.
Your Pokemon shrunk too!” Flygon was a big Pokemon, but now it was nothing but an insect compared to everything else.
Flygon looked around for a couple of seconds, as it was confused and you felt bad.
“Flygon, I... return!” You say panicking. How strong would your Pokemon be now. It’s like they all have been reversed Dynamaxed. This is not good, and you imagine it will be the same with all your Pokemon!
Your Dusknoir, your Tyranitar, Your Nidoqueen. Every Pokemon of yours would be so weak!
So chasing Mew it out of the option, as she has crippled your team. Might as well go over and try to get back to town. Will not be that hard, considering you didn’t go out too far. Not wanting to paralyse your Pokemon, you want to keep them i your Pokeball until you have to bring them out. Looking ahead though, you could see a Flabebe.
It was taller then you, and it didn’t even notice you. That is a major problem.
You walk out of the tall grass, walking over to the dirt path as it seemed to stretch on for years. How small can you really be! You were not happy about this, but there was nothing you could really do anymore!
Just walk down the path, until you see anything.
“Swirl!” A Pokemon said getting you to freeze. You turn your head, seeing a Swirlix near you, and even worse it was making it’s way to you.
It was such a little Pokemon, but the giant Kalos region Pokemon intimidated you more then it should. Not like you were gonna just let it come near. A bit concerned you brought out a Pokeball.
“E-Electivire, go!” You shout, sending your strongest electric type. As he landed onto the ground, he was shrunk and was looking at a giant ball of a Pokemon. Towering over him as he was intimidated. Electivire was never intimidated!
Didn’t help that the giant Swirlix had it’s tongue out and was wagging it around a bit playfully. It is gonna try to eat your Pokemon.
“Electivire!” You shout to him. “Ignore the size difference, just use Thunder!”
He listened, sending a powerful lightning blast. One so powerful that normal size it could take down a Wailord in one hit, at this size though.
It struck Swirlix, and it didn’t care at all! This first evolution, which hasn’t been trained is tanking Electivire’s most powerful attack. This is not good. Your eyes wide open as you start to get concerned. The Swirlix moved forward, and you acted quick.
“R-Return Electivire!” You shout and return him to the Pokeball, just in time for the Pokemon to stomp it’s foot down where your Pokemon would of been. Retreating your Pokemon as you look to the Pokemon with new fear. It was literally invincible, at least to you!
When you were big, you had company with Red and Cynthia, at this size though. You couldn’t even beat a bug catcher! You had to run, running away from the Pokemon as you try to get away. You turned your head, seeing if you were gonna get any reaction from the Pokemon.
The Swirlix looked at you, and went along it’s day. It wasn’t even bothering with you, that’s how insignificant you are.
Regardless, you were taking it. Making your way across as you breathed a sigh of relief.
What the hell are you gonna do?
-
You just kept walking down the street, just kept walking without much interest. You were small, and your Pokemon was useless. You just keep trying to talk to yourself, trying to convince that you were not truly useless. Maybe that Swirlix had an ability that helped it resist Electivire, or maybe it was a much higher level than you thought. Anything that can convince you that maybe it wasn’t so bad.
So you walk around and try to get around, down the road. It was an empty road, with the lake on one side, and tall grass on the other. You would eventually see a Pokemon, but you made sure not to dwell on that and even increase your speed to get away.
You don’t want to get another encounter like that Swirlix. That Swirlix... it was so weak. Any other way, you would of beaten it but not hear. Worst thing is, you don’t even know what a Human would look like, and how they would treat you.
You were so small, if they wanted they could kidnap you. Not like your Pokemon will be able to save you.
It was a sad notion to think about. Eventually you walked down the road some more until _______________
