A... rather odd looking creature

As she dashed into the first area, Tanya started to hear a buzzing sound coming from her gun. She looked at the screen to find static followed by a rather detailed minimap. Her attention took off when she saw the quantity of enemies appearing. “How many is that!? 4, 5, 6... I thought there were only 3 other people!?”

Her wonderment was soon broken when she was suddenly pulled down to the ground. “What the hell,” she shouted as she took a wild shot at her attacker, only... to find what was a puddle of.. slime?

The thick puddle of neon blue mass was bubbling back and forth, soon moving towards Tanya rapidly. Again, she fired multiple shots into the puddly creature. After a few more shots, it stopped for a brief moment. “Finally, this darn gun sucks!” Soon, however, a strange light began glowing from the slime.

It was a pink light that began to spread over the slime. As this happened, the wave of enemies on the display screen map was flashing with multiple enemies. Soon, a whole colony of slimes appeared and began to pool themselves together into a wide pile. Soon, the mass was shaping itself into a...
