Amy wasn't an idiot, she wasn't about to drink some random vial from Sonic's Arch Nemesis. She would call his bluff! She'll see what Tails has to say about this!
"...It's Almond Milk."
"Huh?"
"Specifically, it's almond milk and red food dye." Tails reiterated, turning away from his microscope, "I think Eggman was pranking you."
Amy took the open vial from Tails and drank a sip for herself, indeed tasting almond.
"Ugh. I can't believe this." She sighed, "What a waste of time. What was even the prank? Getting my hopes up?"
"Getting you to drink Almond milk?" Tails suggested, "Sonic said it's pretty gross."
"It's not that bad." Amy shrugged, offering the vial to Tails. He took it, drinking the last sip of pink liquid before sticking his tongue out.
"Ugh!" He cried, while Amy burst into giggles, "Amy!"
"I guess it's not that bad of a prank after all." She smiled, "Got you!"
Tails frowned, tossing the vial aside. As the two laughed and joked, however, neither of them realized that while the liquid was harmless, Eggman had coated the tip of the vial itself with a chemical of his design, effecting anyone who touched their lips to the edge of the vial...
As Amy and Tails laughed at the dumb prank, gradually they began to...
