Have Tails look at it first

Several hours later, Tails arrived at Amy's apartment. He's been told little more than to "hurry over!"

"Amy?" Tails called out, seeing the door was unlocked.

"I'm in the shower!" Tails could hear her call from the other room, "I'll be right out!"

Tails shrugged and entered the living room. He was just about to switch on the TV, when his stomach began to growl. Amy had sounded urgent when she called him, so Tails had hurried over without lunch.

Well, if she was going to wait he may as well help himself...

Opening the fridge, he only saw various yogurts and salad ingredients, nothing that would fill him up. Frowning, he turned toward the counter, where he found a plate set out with some sort of vegetable which had been chopped and served with toothpicks.

Tails sighed. This wasn't an emergency at all. Amy just wanted him to try one of her cooking expirements.

"I hope this is better than last time." Tails sighed, reaching for one of the toothpicks...
