"Thank you, your honor." Caroline said, turning to look at you with a grin. "You see, the defendant is my neighbor, and often comes over to visit us for various reasons. I never truly got to the bottom of it, but I suspect it was some sort of attempt to get with me. I'm quite desirable amongst men such as him." She opened, strolling around the courtroom.
"I wouldn't doubt it madam, men truly only have one thing on their mind. It's quite disgusting." The judge said, affirming her support for your opponent. Caroline nodded, acknowledging the judge's statement as something that she personally agreed with, before starting up on her argument once more.
"You see, your honor, I have put up with this for several years now, allowing him into my home out of the good will of my heart, but recently the defendant took something from my home." She continued. You thought, and couldn't come up with anything that she might be talking about, and just sighed as she kept going. "While I was in the other room, the defendant invaded my refrigerator, steeling some of my cheese sticks I was saving for later that day. I request the judge allow me to replace these snacks that were taken from me with the punk who stole them." She then sat back down, showing she was finished.
You didn't even know what to say to her, knowing that this was a bold faced lie. The judge started up once again. "Thank you madam, it's truly a shame that those so dependent on women in society decide that they have the right to steal from us. Maybe the defendant should be put in his place. However, I am required to hear him out, so go ahead mr defendant, what argument do you have?"
