You take the tiny elevator down to the ground floor at the back of the building, literally right into a grassy field with your workplace looming in the distance. As you made the trek through you thought just how lucky you are to land this job. You now work at the biggest university in the city, Metro City University, or MCU for short. You know very well you are likely a tokken hire as the university has pushed to become "Tiny Inclusive" but it seems to be just marketing nonsense.
The University has very little innovations made for Tinies other than a few lazy "Safe Tiny Pathways" that were simply a thin section of a hallway or sidewalk marked with a line. No other visual indicators or actual barriers so they were largely ignored by students and faculty. Unsurprisingly, students and employees are 98% female! However as a recent college graduate yourself without a whole lot of options, getting hired here felt like a lucky break! You are constantly surrounded by beautiful women, though yes very dangerous, was also exciting. And you have your own tiny office to yourself, actually carefully built into wall at the dead end of a seldom used hallway.
You made it inside without incident opening the tiny door to what you affectionately call your mouse hole. While obviously small it was furnished with high quality, built for tinies furniture. A sweet desk with a tiny computer, comfy chair and even a little pull out couch you could nap in, honestly you did that quite often! You've only been here a week so far and basically nobody has contacted you or sent any work or even checked on you! Your job description was "general support/IT" but all you've done is reset the password for a couple of people over the phone. Hell the last time you interacted with a co-worker was your first day! Jenny, the sweet Receptionist happily showed you around this small section of the campus and brought you to your office. You thought you had been totally forgotten but your first paycheck went through automatically and it was very generous pay.
Basically you're getting a free ride but part of you still wants to prove you can actually get work done and help! You've been pretty lazy your first week but you decide to change that today!
