Azula stretched a supple leg out of the bathtub, her damp foot resting on the discarded clothing. The princess raised an eyebrow, staring at the clothes.

Her mind raced back, and a wide grin stretched across her face. She knew exactly who wore these clothes, that stupid water tribe peasant who followed the avatar!

She took her other foot out of the tub and stood up, deciding to dry herself with the garments instead of using her own flames which she’d usually favour.

“Oh, little waterbender” she cooed in an uncharacteristic, sing-song voice. “Come out and meet your fate.”

Azula knew that Katara couldn’t have escaped the room just yet, but didn’t know exactly where she was.
