The group consisted of nine women, around nineteen through twenty years old. They gasped as they walked around the room, their eyes wandered over the interior of the place. One of them walked up and sniffed her nose. Dressed in a white fur coat, she looked out of place among the more casually dressed guests.
“My father could do a much better job than this.” She spoke aloud. A girl, who appeared to what people commonly thought of as ‘goth’, walked next to her. Casually putting her hand on her shoulder, the goth girl blew up a bubble in her mouth. It popped loudly before she consumed it once again.
“Calm your tits, Vera. We haven’t even seen the interior.” She strutted forward and put two hands into her pockets. She surprisingly whistled even with the wad of gum in her mouth. Katie and Riley watched them move inwards, Katie took a clipboard out and began to tell her companion who each woman was.
“We have: Augustine Gloop, Charlene Bucket, Lapis Beauregarde, Mika Teevee, Miranda Piker, Vera Salt, and the triplets. Who are named: Carrie, Sherry, and Teri.” Katie finished with a flick of her pen on the clipboard. Riley looked at Katie, eyebrows raised. She pointed her head at them, which is to state she angled her neck to act as a ‘finger’ to point at the group. Katie blinked for a moment then realized what that meant.
“Oh, who’s who? Right. Um. You saw that goth girl, that’s Lapis. And I’m hoping you heard what she said? So that’s Vera.” She then pointed out the others. “Rotund girl, that’s Augustine. The skinny one in the back is Charlene. The one wearing longstockings and the choker is Mika. Miranda is the glasses wearing, dress covered lady. Finally, the triplets are, they’re triplets.” Katie finished. Now with that out of the way, Riley straightened her spine while the tour group approached.
“Okay, act natural. Hello, everybody. I’m Katie Marizine. This is Riley Copland. Hope you’re all ready to have a fun day. Now, I’m going to read off a list of rules you should all follow…”
Riley slowly began to mute her words. Her mind wandered over the group and what they’d see. While at the same time, she felt a weird sense of deja vu concerning the women. Quickly she put that aside, nope, she was just imagining things.
