The ride started relatively normal, passing through different rooms showing different scenes of animatronics. They all had the same sort of tribal theme, with the animatronics appearing to perform strange dances and rituals. Mick and Lizzie laughed at some of these scenes, finding them weird, but kind of entertaining at the same time.
After a few minutes of this, the ride suddenly got faster and they descended into darkness. Lights flashed on and off rapidly as the ride snaked its way through different rooms. In the flashing, the two of them saw more of the animatronic scenes. With the lights going on and off and the speed, it was hard to get a good look at the scenes, but they seemed to be getting stranger as they went.
"Did that look weird to you?" Lizzie asked as they passed into a dark tunnel.
"Yeah," Mick agreed, thinking back on the past few scenes. Some of the characters had looked kinda wrong, though he had to admit he had only caught glimpses. He could've sworn one looked like a man's head on a woman's body, another a child with adult-sized arms, another yet an adult with child-sized legs, and other such oddities.
"Did they get their animatronic parts mixed up?" Lizzie mused as the ride continued.
"Maybe," Mick was just able to say before the ride sped up into a downward drop again.
