Luke was currently being electrocuted by the emperor's force lightning. Vader could only watch in horror as his son writhed in pain. Horror? Where was this feeling coming from? Sure, this was his son, but he was still just rebel scum! Yet...he couldn't let his son die. Vader, struggling to get up, rushed toward the emperor and hoisted him up into the air. Ignoring the pain he felt as the lightning struck him, Vader....no....Anakin.....threw Palpatine down the shaft. The deed having been done, his son saved, he collapsed onto the ground, struggling to breathe due to the damage done to his life support systems. Luke rushed to his father's side.
"You...you saved me." Luke stated before helping his father up. The duo began rushing toward the corridor as the Death Star was being attacked by Rebel fire. Spotting a vacant ship in the hangar, the jedi rushed toward it, setting Anakin down as he collapsed.
"Luke...help me take...this mask off." Anakin whispered through his helmet.
"But you'll die." Luke replied.
"There's...no stopping that now..." He winced. "Let me look upon you...with my own eyes."
Carefully, Luke began removing the mask off of his father. Underneath was a a weary and scarred man, his skin pale from the years he had spent away from the sun. He was completely hairless aside from his eyebrows.
"Now....go....my son." He croaked. "Leave me."
"No...I won't leave you. I've gotta save you."
"You already...have."
Luke shook his head as he placed his hands on Anakin's chest. "No. I must save you."
Vader gasped. Like...an actual gasp. He felt his lungs regrowing along with other parts if his body. "L-Luke...what are you...how are you...."
He said nothing as he continued. However, it was soon obvious that not only was he healing but getting younger as well. This process stopped when he was
