Carrie was left bewildered at the unknown world she found herself lost in, unaware she was stuck in-between the floorboards of her very house. She pulled out her phone from her purse only to find it unable to contact anyone, leaving her stuck to ask for help. With no other options left, she decided to walk forward to find anything that could help her understand her predicament.
She walked for what felt like half an hour, where all she came across were giant dust clouds, and various amounts of junk of all different sizes. The most Carrie could comprehend for now was that, somehow, she ended up in some abandoned trash dump, it was the only thing that made sense. Though that didn't help her mental and physical exhaustion, as the terrible smell forced her to hold in from vomiting, and drink from the water she had in her purse. She was also growing tired from walking non-step in her high heels, which would occasionally trip over uneven rocks, as well as being annoyed at how dirty her work suit and skirt were getting from the dust clouds. She had no idea who was responsible, but when she found out she was gonna give them all of her rage imaginable.
It was then that she stumbled across what appeared to be a giant dirt mound the size of a mountain. What she also noticed was that the mound stretched on upwards all the way to the top of the wall on her life side. She realized that if she was able to climb it, she'd be able to get out of this hellscape and finally learn where she was!
She put her foot on the mountain, only to have it start to sink in, discovering how mushy it really was. "Egh, disgusting." Taking it back out, she knew she had to scale it, but couldn't do it in those heels, so she took them off, and placed them in her purse, wrapping it around her waist. Now barefoot, she once again took a step into the dirt mound. She hated being barefoot, especially like this, but if she wanted to get out she had to do something. It was still just as gross to her, but now she was able to at least move around.
She continued forward, as the mound thankfully became harder and easier to walk across. She eventually reached high enough that she was forced to have to actually climb, grabbing parts of the mound with her hands and pulling herself up. She was never the athletic type, so this was the most real exercise she's gotten in probably years. At this point she didn't even care how dirty her shirt and dress were getting being rubbed up against the rocks, and instead it was the unbearable smell that was starting to get to her, but either way she persevered.
Finally making it to the top, where the light shined as bright as the heavens, Carrie pulled herself up out of the dark trench to now find herself in a white expanse that seemingly stretched on endlessly all around. She rested for several minutes as the white noise encompassed her whole being, before then trying to learn where this "trash heap" was. She turned back to the hole she just came out of to see another white platform on the other side of it. She investigated the floor to find that it looked kinda familiar.
It was here that Carrie finally came to the realization, no matter how impossible it may be, tripping over her feet backwards on her butt as she tried to take it all in. She was currently on a tile in her hallway, and what she had just climbed out of was in-between the cracks in the floor. With her new microscopic size finally settled in, all she could do was scream out in anxiousness and fear.
What happens next for her:
