Lauren had finished all of the school work she needed to do for the day, so was chilling on her bed, scrolling through her phone. She was still feeling a bit fatigued over going out the previous day, and planned on going out again today, so was using this opportunity to sit back and not do much with her free time. As far as she knew, she was the only person in the house, so wanted to take advantage of the quiet alone time, before eventually embracing her wild side again that night.
However, she then felt a sudden tingle go through her entire body, which caused her to put her phone down and peer down at her body in response. She was currently wearing a light short sleeve shirt, shorts, and short socks. Just as she assumed it was nothing, an even more sudden shock blasted through her body, causing her to scream out as it felt like her body was plummeting downwards at an immense speed.
Landing backwards on a surface that felt neither soft nor hard, Lauren pushed her slightly aching body back up, scratching her head and waiting for her vision to clear up. She was looking around at an endless expanse of white rings that make up her deserted floor. She stood there speechless, unsure if this was a dream, where she was or how she got there. She was about to take a step forward, but had to be careful, due to the incline of the rings, which seemed to all be in-between deep chasms.
It was then, when she tried to piece together the most "logical" solution, that she wished she didn't. "No no no no no no no" is all she get out as her panic increased. She was still on her bed, and the rings are the individual fibres that make up the mattress. She had to be no more than a millimetre tall. Maybe even smaller. Reduced to a piece of dust. Trying to remain as calm as possible and not go into complete hopeless freakout, she turned to look at her phone and saw:
