Ino then walked over to Naruto and picked him up, cradling him in her arms. "Now, it's still nap time for you, baby~" Ino stated in a motherly tone. Naruto was surprised by Ino's strength, but didn't question her as Naruto was more concerned about 'Nap-Tme'. He was an adult! Not some baby!
"B-but I don't need naps! I'm a big boy! What time is it even?" Naruto demanded. Ino sighed, as she expected this kind of behavior at first. But Ino quickly composed herself before she could say anything crass.
"It's 4:30 and you have at least another three hours before bedtime." Ino explained. After her explanation, Ino carried Naruto back to the nursery, which was basically Inojin's old nursery. Every piece of furniture from changing table to crib was Inojin's original nursery. Surprisingly though, as Ino laid Naruto back into the crib, he was still able to fit! "Now you behave, and you better nap." Ino said, wagging her finger at Naruto. "I do not want to have to deal with a cranky baby tonight." Ino stated as she turned on the baby monitor, as well as the baby mobile.
Naruto was about to say something, but was cut off once Ino exited the room. Naruto huffed as he laid back on the crib, staring at the baby monito. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, this was his life now. And there wasn't going to be anything to change it. With that knowledge in mind, Naruto closed his eyes, and soon drifted off to sleep.
