Krum entered the diner exhausted. Another rejection and another intense workout to dull the pain. He wiped the sweat from his brow. He had come to England again to win Hermione over but the beauty seemed obsessed with that ridiculous red-head Ron Weasley. Krum wasn't sure what Ron had that he didn't. Ron was a thin piece of paper compared to him. He felt like he would never understand women. He just needed to sit down and eat.
Krum walked around the diner finding a seat for himself. As he looked around someone caught his attention at first he thought it was Harry but no it couldn't have been. His face was too round, his body to wide as well, he looked like he had swallowed Harry and then some. As if on autopilot he decided to take a seat at here, throwing manners and decency out the window. Perhaps he could tell him about what made his Ron person so special.
Dudley almost jumped seeing this man sit across from him at his booth. He glared at the stranger. "What do you want?" He said annoyed. Before he ripped off another piece of meat off his fried chicken.
Krum just shrugged. He wasn't intimated in the slightest. "Forgive me I was just wondering, are you related to Harry Potter?"
Dudley groaned. Harry had left his parent's abode and yet he still haunted him. Now wizard freaks were questioning him. Dudley ripped off another strip of meat from the bone, Krum was impressed by the man's gluttony. "Yeah, I am. The name ids Dudley. I'm his cousin. what's it to you, you one of those freaks?" Dudley grumbled.
Again more grandstanding. "I was wondering if you were acquainted with any of his friends?"
Dudley snorted. "Oh man that's a good joke! Me friends with that loser! Don't know and don't care. Besides Harry left I don't see him anymore." A waitress came up to the booth. "Can I get a burger please?" Dudley asked.
The waitress smiled writing it down in her notepad as she turned her attention to Krum. "I'll just have what he's having." Krum said. The waitress nodded as she then left.
"So you're going to stick around?" Dudley said annoyed.
"Yes, I hope you don't mind." While Dudley was being abrasive he could tell that the big guy was lonely. After all he was in a diner alone in the summer. Perhaps what they ended was each other. Not to mention Krum was transfixed seeing Dudley eat. He was no stranger to big eating from his time in Durmstrang, but never someone as gluttonous as Dudley. He wanted to see him eat more...
