Ron also gets detention with Umbridge

“Well Ronald Weasley” Umbridge mused as Ron sat nervously in front of her. What had he done this time?! Been late for class? Forgotten to hand his homework in? Been disorganised? Whatever it had been, she looked incredibly irritated with him.

“Do you know why I’ve called you here?”

He shook his head. It was true, he hadn’t a clue why he was called here, all he knew was it was bad.

“It’s the same reason Potter was here just a few days ago” she smiled, a false, cold calculated smile
“Rebellious thoughts”. She laughed. But not a laugh you could take any pleasure from, it was calculated and malicious. “You’re to write lines for me Mr Weasley. Six sheets of A4 saying “I must not break the rules” is that clear?”

He nodded and set off to begin to write his lines. But suddenly he felt the most peculiar feeling in his belly. A swelling, a hunger burning inside of him. He looked up at umbridge, who was carefully writing notes in front of him. Their eyes met for one moment and she smiled, menacingly. “Something the matter, Mr Weasley?“

She cut herself a small piece of cake from the “congratulations” cake from beside her and began eating. Suddenly Ron felt his stomach grumble. He was so hungry, he longed to devour a slice of that cake. The more he thought about it the more of it he wanted, he desired, he craved. Suddenly, just as his lips began salivating, there was a nock at the door.
