Amanda was someone you'd known all your life. You first met when you entered elementary school, and have been together ever since. She was the odd girl that that was the target of ridicule back in school because of her big feet and the odor that accompanied them. She wasn't a slob by any means but it was clear as day to anyone with eyes and a functioning brain that she didn't bother to take care of them.
It was a trait that carried over into middle-school, high-school, college, and eventually your married adult life. Even now at twenty-eight years of age she still didn't bother to keep her feet clean. You asked her why once back in middle-school and she basically told she didn't see the point in trying. She was just the a woman who wore size twelve shoes and had gross feet.
She didn't even bother trying to clean them for your wedding. Instead she just painted her toenails black to hide the dirt underneath and called it a day. The rest of the most important day of your lives went off without a hitch but the smell that day would be forever burned into your brain.
That was four years ago and even now nothing had really changed on that front. Her feet were still huge and still gross. Oh well, there was nothing for it and you'd just grown to accept it. This was your wife and you wouldn't change anything about her. If she wants to have disgusting feet then so be it.
Currently the two of you at home on the couch cuddled up together watching a movie. She had long since fallen asleep and you were slowly starting to drift off yourself. It was a bit difficult do to the smell, but you'd manage. You shut your eyes... and drifted off to sleep.
