David thought it was just a dumb joke that his friend Tim probably left but it wouldn’t hurt to see. Rosa and Wendy were both college sophomores. Wendy had been Rosas friend since junior high. She was always playing the part around his parents but when it came to David she showed her true colors.
“Time for me to take control Wendy.” David said. He aimed the clicked outside the window towards Wendy and pushed the button.
“Rosa, me and Josh are gonna be throwing a party for......” Wendy’s sentence cut off and staggered as she lost her balance catching herself.
“Hey Wendy you okay Wendy?” Rosa said.
David looked up to see Rosa with a concern face.
“Did you just call me Wendy?” David said looking at his hands noticing the the red nail polish. “Holy shit it actually worked.”
“What worked?” Rosa said confused.
“Nothing.” David said surprise by his voice. “Come on let’s go inside.”
While they were walking inside David kept losing his balance in the heels having to catch himself over and over.
Rosa unlocked the door and they both walked inside. “Okay well I’m gonna make something to eat make yourself at home.” Rosa said as she walked to the kitchen.
David kicked off the heels and felt something in his pocket. He reached inside and found the clicker.
“Oh shit I guess this thing follows me wherever I go.” David said.
