Zwei jumps into her lap before she gets up.

Right as Ruby went to stand up, she noticed the small dog leaping towards her.

"Zwei, no!!!"

But it was too late. On contact, in a flash of light, the two became one. The subtle red streaks in Ruby's hair became white, and she sported a cute pair of dog ears. A fluffy tail wagged nervously from under her skirt. If someone hadn't known her, they'd assume she was just a faunas.

"Uh oh! This is bad!" Ruby thought to herself, "I didn't mean for this to happen! I should change my powers a bit..."

Ruby reached for the book and....
