Megumin happily curled her fists close to her body, her eyes twitching shut as she jogged on the spot with a happy grin. Her knees keeping high as she was lost in the moment of joy. Not hearing the gargled sounds Aqua was making from within her boot.
"Let's fire another one!" Megumin drooled- looking too happy.
Darkness gave a little smile,
"Glad you're feeling better, you looked rather sad previously" The blond sheathed her sword, trying to hide her disappointment at not getting taken captive by the goblins.
Megumin stopped preparing her magic as she remembered where the mana probably came from. Sweat nervously formed on her face as her eyes suddenly widened slightly. She bit her tongue mid cast, standing still for a moment in shock.
Within the boot, Aqua felt the girl suddenly tense up. Her eyes rolled a little as she choked on the slight increase in sweat. Unable to say much as the foot slowly moved- back into a walk.
"Let... me... out..." Aqua internally cried out, getting flatted every step before the pressure eased up again. The boot vibrated slightly as the carrage set off outside. Attempting to bite the offending foot didn't work, she could only stew under the wraps.
Feeling guilty, Megumin started reading the instructions again, leaving Darkness a little confused in the change of mood.
It wasn't all too clear to the explosion wizard but... it looked like she could 'Transfer' the power Aqua gave to focus on something else. She guessed she was currently on a mana feed setting... the few runes she managed to translate weren't too useful on the surface... their descriptions were too vague/ difficult to work out.
They might at least ease the pressure on Aqua a bit.
Current Runes:
Pain transfer : Whatever happens to Aqua, the target feels. Megumin doesn't exactly know what it does, she only knows that it requires a target. She tries it on Darkness to see what the effects are.
Instructions are to use it on an enemy but Megumin hasn't been able to work that paragraph out yet.
Teleport transfer : Teleports the divine entity. Megumin uses this to get Aqua off her foot- hopefully it's accurate enough to put Aqua in a safe spot.
Provoke transfer : Instructions are to toss the divine entity into a group of Monsters and run the other direction without looking. Anyone that notices or see's Aqua suddenly want to bully her. They forget what they did with her when they look away, there's a long delay in the memory wipe if they remain close
Megumin isn't certain of the runes, she can't quite work out what they do but she kind of gets the gist of it.
"Better then the current situation for her I guess..." Megumin sighed, already bummed out that she won't be able to cast multiple explosions in a day as she tried out one of the runes.
