A humble village...

The villain, in armor and wielding a large warhammer, sat before the adventurer's guild registrar, a large, burly man in armor named Samuel Joseph.
"Hnh. All right... your Adventurer class?" he asked.
"Mage Knight," the villain said.
Samuel blinked. "Hm?"
"Ah, sorry," the villain said, smiling. "I know a lot of magic both destructive and healing, plus I have the big smashy thing here. I'm from a specific sect that has specific training."
Samuel's eyes narrowed. "...Where is your sect?"
The villain's eyes flared, using his powers on the adventurer, Samuel's eyes going dull as he fell under hypnosis. "You'll hear me giving you a name of a place you've heard of but haven't been to in a while, after which you'll remember hearing rumors about a sect of magical knights the last time you visited." The villain's eyes stopped glowing, and Samuel came back to his senses, blinking as if he realized something.
"...AH! Yes, I've been there," he said. "Not for a while though... I do recall vague mentions of an order of magical warriors with a temple near there... Well, its certainly interesting to meet you, then." He nodded, satisfied. "Well. What purpose do you have in becoming an adventurer."
"Twofold," the villain said. "One, I want to help people. I have the ability so why not use it to help people."
"Good, good," Samuel said. "And two?"
"To meet women, impress them, and fuck them. Possibly repeatedly," the villain said, grinning.
Samuel raised an eyebrow. "Usually Bards are the ones with that purpose," he said.
"I can sing," the villain said, smirking.
Samuel rolled his eyes. "Honest, at least," he said. "Very well. Fill out these forms, and report to the tavern. You'll find postings there. Please keep to your ranking for now," he said, handing over a sheaf of papers, which the villain signed. "All right. Good luck. If you die, your remains will be recovered by another adventurer for ressurection at the temple. Or turned into a skeleton warrior."
"Good to know," the villain said, chuckling as he went out and strode through the town, taking in the sights. He grinned wickedly, imagining all the beauties from this world, and made his way to the tavern, planning away...
