Because he wasn't happy with the way several storylines had gone, he divulged further from canon, making sure to avoid worlds where events he detested happened, but characters he liked still came into being. "It's MAHVEL, BABEH! WHERE YOUR CURLY MUSTACHE AT!?"
On top of that, the world had the 'Disney barrier' around it, and fighting through that made him grumpy. He was going to strip the world clean of superwomen and other hot women. He crashed down in the middle of the street, sending cars flying. As he looked around, he began to think about his plan of attack. He had a LOT to do here, and a lot of potential to cause chaos. On top of that, he had many heroes and villains he wanted to genderbend.
