I'm LeFrenchFox, creator of this "encyclopedia" project around Wokod's interactive story "The Dictaphone".
This project is meant to progress and evolve more or less like a Wikipedia page would.
As in, this whole item in its current state (by the time you're reading this) might be actually pretty empty of actual data and informations.
"The dictaphone" having been supplied by many new chapters, one after another, during all these years,
it is now being a HUGE story with a number of chapters that is counted being SEVERAL THOUSANDS.
But it IS because the story is so huge that I decided to create this encyclopedia, as it becomes more and more complicated to get an overall view to all what this amazing item initiated by Wokod can offer. Particularly for newcomer who only recently discover the story.
But... Because it is indeed a massive interactive story (probably one of the biggest of this website, if not the biggest), it will take time for me, the insane idiot who dare to throw himself into such project, to compute everything out of it.
How exactly are you proceeding ?:
I could be gathering informations from every single chapter of The Dictaphone and filling this encyclopedia accordingly by reading with close scrutiny every single one of these 5000+ chapters.
In some way, I will.
If I want to attempt to gather informations out of people's writing, I'll have to read myself as I can't really rely on automatic process or A.I to "guess" informations out of chapters by text-automatic-analyze. I don't have such sufficient intelligent A.I in my hands, and i'm no Google either, lol.
Though, i'll be helping myself by the use of a personal database in MySQL on which i'll record on my side every chapter people have written on the dictaphone with informations on (author of the chapter, path of the chapter, parent chapter, etc...)
If everything goes well, this database i'm making will makes thing pretty easier for me to sort data and then providing you here with informations you might use then to find what you want around "The Dictaphone".
Because of this roadmap, "The dictaphone - Encyclopedia" might be in a stasis phase for a while, as long as it'll take me to design and put in place the Database to help me fill this item.

If you want to help me filling this encyclopedia, unfortunately, I can't really think of much things you can do without some efforts on your side.
Though, if you're one author of "The dictaphone", you can help in different ways :
- You haven't your personal "author page" written here yet :
Don't hesitate to send me everything you could tell about yourself, as an author, here on this encyclopedia, that I could add on the "authors" page. Of course, it's up to you to provide more or less personal info or insight about you as one of the author of "The dictaphone". I won't force any author to actually give any info about themselves if they don't want to. Nor will I display info I know myself about you, unless these are publically displayed info (on your own profile page for example).
So don't hesitate to contact me about any of these. (to add, correct or delete data that can end of the "authors" page and on your own "author" page)
- You've written a chapter on "The dictaphone" :
You can help me proceeding informations on the chapter you just wrote, by using a form I'll eventually give you after this chapter that you can fill accordingly to what your chapter contains and is about.
Filling this form properly will save me time when i'll end up analyzing your chapter as you'll have already giving me info about it in the form, instead of having to find it myself.

About permissions and copyrights :
This encyclopedia project isn't coming out of the blue.
I've already discussed with Wokod, creator of "The dictaphone", himself about it and about my will to put something like that to help reader navigating around his creation and he accepted the idea.
Though, if at any time, Wokod doesn't give me his consent anymore, i will lock this encyclopedia away from anyone to see.
As well, this encyclopedia doesn't have the intent to literally copy/paste the "The dictaphone" authors' original content nor it has the objective of claiming ownership on authors' original content. This encyclopedia will content informations about "The dictaphone"'s content, not taking its content itself.
This being said, don't hesitate if you have any questions, to use the "choice" system below to ask me question (about and around this encyclopedia, of course). If only one chapters is remaining below to ask a question or suggest something, please add a whole new set of empty choices chapters, so that people can continue asking questions or suggesting things after you.
