Everything disappears in a whirl of color as your mom pulls the trigger. You mother shoots up to enormous proportions, and when it all ends, you come up to her ankle.
You get to your feet, dazed, just to find your mom's toes in front of you, raising and falling off the ground. To make matters worse, when you look up, far far up, you see her face smiling down at you, and you grimace. "Your sister will get a kick out of this!" Her hand comes down, lifting you effortlessly off the ground.
Your mom heads toward the house, silently, holding you in one hand and the gun in the other. Terran, your sister, will no doubt be awoken to see what her mother has found. You grimace at the thought but there is nothing you can do about it now. Your sister is good looking though, one of the prettiest girls in school, so that is a plus, with long brown hair and brown eyes. It might not be that bad.
You only hope she doesn't tell your brother, Greg, about you, too.
