Chapter #5

Dinner at Joey's

    by: Theday Author IconMail Icon
The rest of the work week went by pretty smoothly. Joey usually had a dozen questions about what kind of food Alec enjoyed. The Happy Hours were a bit shorter since Joey wasn't partaking in the eating competitions, just having his plate and glass while keeping his eyes on Alec. Alec kind of liked getting all the attention from Joey, he would give Alec compliments on his eating, give Alec his left overs, encourage Alec to eat more. Alec's gut was going home full nearly every night.
Saturday finally arrived and Alec was stumped at what to take to his dinner with Joey. Alec wasn't too skilled of a cook so making a side was kind of out of the question. He decided on grabbing a six pack of brews for the night since he couldn't go wrong with that. Joey had asked Alec to show up at about five o'clock and to bring his hunger, which Alec had no problem with.
Alex slipped on his 36" jeans and noticed they were getting a little bit tight around the waist and ass. Alec also noticed that his gut was beginning to become more pronounced when he wore a lighter coloured shirt.
"I would change, but Joey seems to like my gut," Alec said to himself observing his belly in a light blue shirt that was starting to hug his belly more than before.
Alec headed to the washroom to do some last minute touches, he felt nervous for some reason, like first date nervous and not hanging out with his best work bud nervous. Alec made sure his black hair was styled perfectly and then saw the scale and decided to give it a go. He stepped on the scale and saw the numbers pass by 230, which he swore he was 3 months ago and see it land on 243.
"Damn," Alec said cupping his belly with his hands," I'm getting big."
Suddenly Alec realized his tight pants were getting tighter as he started to get a hard on. Alec faced the mirror and thought he indeed looked bigger. He was no longer that scrawny kid from the farm town, he was a big city construction guy. Alec flexed his arm and felt his belly with the other and thought it wasn't too bad and headed out to Joey's.

Joey lived several subway stops away in a slightly rougher part of town. It wasn't skid row, but you wouldn't leave the door or bike unlocked around here. Alec pressed the buzzer and Joey's voice came over the intercom.
"Alec, is that you?"
"Damn right it's me," Alec responded," I was promised food!"
"And food you shall get! Come on up, 806," Joey invited and buzzed him in.
Alec entered the building which has an older, built in the 80's but had minor touch ups here and there building. The florescent lighting left much to be desired and the elevator was quite cramped and Alec wondered if a King sized bed would even fit in it. The hallway had some drab off white walls with an ugly teal highlight and some short, ugly dark grey carpet.
Alec reached the door for 806 and gave a soft knock which quickly opened up to reveal Joey with a smile on his face and eyes bright.
"Hey, hope you brought your appetite!" Joey welcomed and opened the door wide.
"You bet I did," Alec said and held up the plastic bag he brought," And I brought some brews."
"Oh, you didn't need to," Joey said taking the bag.
"I did want to show up empty handed," Alec said," My mother taught me better than that."
"Well I will throw them into the fridge," Joey said," Make yourself at home. Dinner is almost ready."
"Smells great," Alec said sniffing the air and feeling hungrier by the minute.
*Hopefully it tastes great," Joey said and ducked into the first door.
Alec looked around to see that Joey had the usual Siberian landscape design going. Empty blank white walls, except a bulletin board close to the door with a few notes on it. Alec could tell the bedroom was at the end of the hall and the bathroom was next to that. The first two door frames lead to the kitchen and living room. Alec spotted the dinner preparation Joey was attending to and saw that...
