"I better not, we've got a fundraiser tonight. And there's always so much food there," he thought to himself. His stomach growled almost instinctually reminding him he hadn't had lunch and might not have time for it. "Alright maybe just a couple little things," he replied to Phyllis. She gave him an approving look as he went over to get a closer look at the snacks.
Marcus loaded up a tray of treats with at least one of everything while he waited for the printing. Phyllis glanced over and smiled, watching Marcus scarf down. After about twenty minutes had gone by Marcus had finished off a few platefuls. Phyllis called him over to the desk as his pamphlets were ready.
"This boxes are pretty heavy, dear. But you're a big strong boy, I think you can handle it," she said with a smile. Marcus loaded up his arms with boxes which squished against his surprisingly soft beginner belly. "I'll be right back for the receipts," he said as he strained to shuffle the boxes out to the car. Phyllis watched him walk out and couldn't help but admire how round his butt was in his tight khaki pants.
Moments later, Marcus returned to get the receipt from Phyllis. She couldn't help herself and had loaded up a Tupperware container of more snacks for him. Marcus looked and smiled, "I really shouldn't, I over did it," he smiled and patted his bulging midsection. "Please take it dear, you can share with your coworkers or roommates or, you don't have to share. it's yours, I insist."
