There is something in the bushes

My heart races and my pulse quickens as a gigantic grasshopper hops into view. It is so close I could reach out and touch it if I were brave enough. With another hop, it jumped out of sight. I rubbed my eyes. Something was very, very wrong. I looked closely at everything around me. I spotted a coke can and it was big enough to be a house! Fear threatened to overtake me as the realization came to me I had somehow shrunk to the size of a bug. Maybe smaller, considering how big the grasshopper looked. OMG! I sank down to the ground and just sat there, trembling as questions flooded my racing mind.
