In their panic neither Edelgard nor Bernadetta took something into account: the longer, faster strides of the Brigid princess and their dancer. Meaning the future empress had just gotten herself out of what she believed was Bernie's line of sight, when the jar wa picked up, causing her to squeal
"I be catching the furball no?" Petra grins as she holds up the jar to Dorothea who chuckles, just as Bernadetta catches up to them, her heart in her mouth.
"Yes you did...wait a minute" the dancer's eyes widen as she looks in the jar, seeing not a hamster but a tiny blond girl, a very familiar one "Edelgard!"
"Hm, holy, is it be you Edelgard?" Petra asks holding the jar between them, luckily avoiding being swallowed by Dorotheas cleavage.
"I can explain" the 2 turn to the final Eagles girl, looking even more nervous than usual "how she got like this I mean"
The 2 listened carefully, surprised to hear about the potion Bernie had found, as well as helping calm her fears by pointing out it was Edelgard's own fault she was shrunk for drinking the potion without testing it first. As for everything after that, while it was wrong it was also pretty tame for a Bernadetta freak out, considering they'd found her contemplating/fantasizing about burning Sylvain in a fire, for why they decided it was better not knowing.
With her panic attacks subsiding Bernadetta opened the jar, freeing Edelgard who now was standing in Dorotheas hand.
"Thanks guys I was worried nothing was going to get through to her" the blond sighs deeply, while Bernie blushes deeply "so, can you help me get to the Professor and fix this?"
What happens next?
1) the other girls want to have a little fun first, bringing Edelgard to Petras room where the 4 can cut loose and play some games
2)Given they were already on the way there, Dorothea suggests they go look for Anna and see if she sells antidote to the shrinking potion
3) they go to the Professor and pass Edelgard over to him to look after
