Jake saw my indecision and walked over to me with the two beers.
"You know, I see you two come in here all the time, and while your buddy likes to talk to the girls, you like to swipe through them like they're meat or something."
"You see many available women here tonight Jake?" I was saying it as a joke, but it also wasn't untrue. The place was known for couples and small groups, but not as a pick up spot.
Jake just smiled back at me as I handed him my card. "Tell you what, I'll make you an offer that you might want to think about."
'And what would that be?"
