She laughed. "I don't wait for others and I don't play the third wheel." She grabbed my phone from me before I could resist, and punched in a few numbers. "But you're cute, so I'll tell you what, my number is in your phone, and when you're ready to grow a real pair, give me a call." She handed me back my phone, stood up, and then kissed me on the lips. She pulled away and I could feel my lips lingering open from the kiss.

She walked away without another word. I watched her saunter away, then I looked back down at my phone. I shook my head, I was too loyal a friend, couldn't leave him hanging.
