Your little sister stands in the doorway looking up at you with a pouty look.
"What are YOU doing here?" She says, standoffishly. Of course, she always seemed to resent having you as an older brother. "I don't NEED a babysitter!"
You give her a dismissive little wave and reply, "well mom and dad think you do, brat, so I guess that makes you the little baby." She's blocking the doorway, so you plant a hand on her forehead and give her a little shove, but she folds her arms and holds her ground until you awkwardly pull your hand back. You could give her a harder shove, but that would upset your parents.
She huffs. "If I'm the baby how wimpy does that make you?"
"Come on, squirt," you start, and you can practically see the steam coming out her ears at that term. "Lets just try and get along. I'll let you play with your toys and watch me play videogames, alright?"
She stares at you for another couple seconds, then finally steps aside. "Whatever."
Moments later the tension is diffused by your parents rushing out the door. They give you a quick hello and goodbye and then they're gone, perfectly happy to leave as quickly as possible, so you shrug and bring your things inside. Your sister runs off while you set up a game console at the TV and sit back on the couch to start your week of getting paid to play videogames.
