There is a knock on the door, before Tom decide...

A little startled by the knock, Tom walked slowly and a bit fearfully across his bedroom and into the small entrance room, which had one door facing the kitchen, another one facing his bedroom and the aforementioned entrance door facing the stairwell, of his apartment.

It was a rather small and cramped apartment, but Tom was generally happy there.

Although, at this moment, for every second and every step, he took towards the entrance door, he asked himself who had knocked?
