With time having stopped when you pressed the button, you could go through the list of things that you could swap with the squirrel without having to worry about it running off before you had decided.
As your eyes scrolled over the extensive list of things to swap, you noticed an option marked: 'Clothes'.
At first glance, it seemed like it was a suitable option for you. After all; if you wanted to swap something that would make it easy to swap back, you would definitely recognize a squirrel wearing clothes!
On the other hand, considering just how many squirrels were in the city alone, it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack to find it again.
Still; you couldn't deny that you were curious to see how reality would change if you performed that swap.
Would the squirrel be able to change its clothes on its own, or would it go to a human for help in doing it? Would it still be able to climb trees if it had shoes on, or would it get food in a different way?
Not to mention what could happen to yourself, since you would be naked!
How would you hold on to any loose items when you no longer had any pockets for them? Would your drawer disappear, since you would no longer have any kind of clothing?
You would be lying if you said that you weren't tempted to swap your clothes with the squirrel right now out of sheer curiosity; consequences be darned!
However; before you could choose the option for clothes, you noticed another swapping option labeled: 'Intelligence'.
You were even more curious now than you had been before.
You were well aware of the fact that squirrels were extremely smart animals, since they were able to observe and learn. But, just how smart were they?
Would it be possible for a human like yourself, to go about their day with the intelligence of a squirrel?
You were reasonably sure that you would loose the abillity to read and write, since squirrels couldn't do that, but would you be able to, say, change your clothes, eat using utensils, or even just talk with a squirrels level of intellect?
You were now extremely divided between making a swap that would be simple to reverse and doing one of these two swaps just out of pure curiosity.
