Looking up at your massive (from your poodle body perspective) girlfriend's beseeching eyes you thought of just giving in and letting her have her way, but then you remembered you'd already gone with her suggestions of swapping both clothes and bodies with her dog. As much as you loved your girlfriend you couldn't give into every single thing she wanted, that just wouldn't be healthy for your relationship and whatever was going to potentially happen to your mind and body.
Opening your canine mouth and letting out a convincing fake yawn you said, "Sorry, this swapping thing has already taken a lot out of me, if we're gonna consider using it tomorrow at school we should probably get some sleep and if I stay and we start using the remote we both know that won't happen."
Avril looked a little disappointed but nodded, "Yeah, you're probably right. So you here in the morning so you walk me to school...actually it's definitely the other way around now."
"Hey, I'm still the big brave protective boyfriend here." You said sitting on your hind legs to puff out your poofy poodle chest.
"You absolutely are." Avril said squatting down and kissing you on your nose. You managed to put on your dog sized backpack that the remote had materialized for you in lieu of you not having clothes with pockets anymore. "You have a safe walk home." Avril said putting your remote in your backpack. "Oh! Better safe than sorry." She added as she pushed a button on your color and the pink collar began to glow bright pink. "We always turn that on for Missy when we let her in the backyard late night and considering your size you probably need it on your walk home."
It felt a little embarrassing to have your girlfriend turn a big pink light on you, but you couldn't exactly hold a flashlight right now easily so you grinned and bared it as you left your girlfriend's house and began to walk home.
It wasn't a long walk home, but being in an unfamiliar body, a very small unfamiliar body, made it a little scary. All of the sudden the sounds of owls which you normally thought sounded super cool, now made your mind race as you wondered if owls ever went after small dogs, something that now became a priority to look up when you got home. Quickening your pace you stumble a few times getting used to walking on four paws, but the adrenaline of the quickly setting sun and darkening sky made you learn to run quite quickly and thankfully soon you were back at your home where you saw the first big change to the house.
Turns out your front door now had a doggy door, something that would have been useless before considering you didn't have a dog, but since you couldn't exactly use the doorknob now, apparently the remote helped compensate reality by making this change. "I love this crazy remote." You said as you used your head to push at the doggy door let yourself into your house.
"Michael's home!" You were greeted by your youngest sister Heather who ran at you with a loving hug. Normally a hug from Heather would only slightly squeeze your legs if you didn't bend down to greet her, but how your 5 year old sister was more than double your size and felt like she was smothering you. "Love you too Heather! Please let go!"
"Heather! Be careful with your brother, you know he's delicate!" Your mom Katherine said coming into save the day, Katherine thankfully listened freed you. "Thanks mom,"
"Of course, the rest of the family has already eaten but your food is waiting in the kitchen, it's still warm."
"Sweet! You said as you trotted to the kitchen and was surprised by the sight. right next to James high chair was a small set of stairs the climbed up to the kitchen table. Relizing it had to be for you, you made the climb and the treasure at the top of the peak was a small plate of spaghetti and meatballs. "Score!" You said as you approached it and foolishly looked to the side of the plate for a fork before realizing even if mom gave you one it'd be darn near impossible to use with your current paws. You toyed with the idea of trying to use your hands to feed yourself, but paws and their lack of dextrous fingers made that idea just as ridiculous. "Well, one thing to do, dive on in." And you suck your face in the middle of the pasta dish. You felt like you were making a big mess with noodles flying as you chomped away. As you chomped away at one of the meatballs you really wished Avril was here with a dog body too so you could do the Lady and the Tramp scene...although with how girly Missy's body was it would be hard for you to play anything other than the Lady in the scene.
With most of the food eaten, your older sister Hannah came in and took your plate without asking, "You done?" She said having already started to wash the plate in the sink, "Mom's making me finish the dishes before bed and was making me wait on you." She said with a little bit of attitude. "Well excuse me princess." You said rolling your eyes before climbing down your steps and made your way to the bathroom where you saw your next surprise. You were surprised to see another set of custom steps leading up to the toilet and the sink. You hadn't thought about it, but if you had would you have just tried to go to the bathroom outside? Good thing you hadn't or you might have been yelled at by your family, or worse had the cops called on you by a neighbor.
After doing your business you went to your bedroom where more custom steps lead up to your bed. But before you crawled in, your curiosity about your clothing situation got to you and you looked in your closet and even though you expected it knowing the power of the remote, it still surprised you to see all your t shirts and pants replaced by a bunch of collars. You even saw a couple of leashes, a few harnesses, and up on the top shelf you could make out a cone of shame. "...I don't think I want to know why I have that one." You said before you climbed into your bed and dreamed of the day at school that awaited you and Avril and the remote.
