"Seriously, Mom? A hypnotism show?"
This wasn't how Blake had hoped the first night after reuniting with her team would go. Instead of letting them have a quiet party in the Haven Academy Dorms, Kali Belladonna had in typical mom-fashion butted in with her own idea. A night on the town in Mistral so that she could get to know all of Team RWBY. Of all things she'd chosen some tacky hypnosis performance at a local club to be the night's entertainment. And the worst part was that Blake's friends seemed to be on board with the idea.
"Come on Blake, it'll be fun." The team leader assured her.
"What's the matter? Not scared you'll be the one clucking like a chicken up onstage are you, Blake?" Yang teased.
"N-No! It's just dumb. Everyone knows it's fake crap made to entertain kids and stupid hicks." She protested.
As if things couldn't get any worse, Kali couldn't restrain herself from sharing some of the girl's more embarrassing secrets.
"Ooh, you should have seen her back when she was little. Blake was so spooked by this cartoon with a hypnotizing snake, she wrapped herself like a butterfly in her bedcovers."
"MOM!"

Rrrrrrgggggglllllllrrrrrrr...
Blake grimaced as she clutched her tummy, her eyes quickly darting left and right. Thankfully no one else in the ticket line had heard the grumble.
Kali had insisted on treating everyone to the local cuisine and they'd eaten at a fancy restaurant that served mouth-watering noodles. As delicious as the food was though, Blake had a nasty feeling in the pit of her stomach that it might have it's revenge. Mercifully though the tickets for seats 54 to 60 were bought and Blake reached her designated spot without incident. Unfortunately she wasn't the only one feeling the effects.
BLLLRRRRRPPT!
Blake glanced to her right and saw her friend Ilia standing frozen in position like a deer in the headlights. Her legs still bending, and her buttocks hovering just above her seat. The poor Faunus' face had quite literally turned a bright red after the embarrassing outburst. This was hardly how she hoped her reunion with Blake would go, and certainly not the first impression she wanted to make on Blake's new friends. Thankfully they didn't hold it against her.
Ruby just waved her hand nonchalantly. "Don't worry Ilia. It happens to the best of us."
("Actually feeling a little bloated myself") Ruby thought, lightly caressing her own stomach.
A few minutes later the lights dimmed down, and a figure emerged onstage. It was Anima's most illustrious hypnotist, Spiral Sabrina. A reputation she'd earned with the help of her unique semblance.
"Good evening, ladies! It's an honor to have you all here tonight. Originally I was planning on asking for some volunteers, but I decided I'd do something different this time round. I thought it'd be more interesting to do a little lottery. Hopefully it'll bring up some folks who wouldn't ordinarily take the plunge."
("What?! No, no, no!") Blake was starting to panic. Even if she didn't believe hypnosis was real, the last thing she wanted was to go up onstage with a tummy filled with gas.
("And...If it actually works...If she hypnotizes me for real...") Blake suddenly had a frightening mental image of her half-asleep body farting away without a care while she performed silly antics for Sabrina.
The hypnotist revealed a hat filled with little slips of paper and reached inside.
"I'll be needing four lovely ladies tonight. Whoever happens to be in the seat I call out will be the first candidate, followed by the next three girls seated to her right...And our lucky winner is...54!"
Blake's blood went ice-cold.
"...No." She quietly whimpered, turning to her left.
Almost the second the announcement had been made, Kali leapt out of her seat.
"Ooh, that's me! I'm number 54! Oh, and Blake's 55 too. I guess that means you'll be coming with me, sweetie." Kali eagerly reached out, offering her daughter a hand.
Blake grimaced and glanced to her right at the other two "lucky" winners. Ilia looked more anxious than Blake had ever seen her before.
And to Ilia's right...
