Sarah Gilbert was not having an unusual day at all. As per every day she’d woken up, showered, recited her personal mantra, done her mandatory 30 pushups and now was jogging on her way to the boxing gym where she’d probably train until the sun set and she’d have to do everything again but in reverse. Such was the life of an aspiring athlete, her mother used to tell her all the time. Even as she ran she scoffed, that’s how repetitive it sounded in her head. She checked her Fitbit on her wrist—nice, on her way to a new PB.
She was in amazing shape (for obvious reasons), toned musculature, limber put powerful legs. For this reason she’d always gotten a great deal of pervs giving her looks. Maybe it was the fact that she had a cute face and tied her blonde hair into those pom-pom buns that guys go crazy about. Oh well, she wouldn’t let it distract her anyway. She had to make a quick stop at the bank today before she hit the gym so she’d have to just firm the old men waiting inside there anyways.
As she ran, she saw a brief glimpse of red flashing through the sky.
“Weird,” she mumbled to herself. She shrugged her shoulders and soon came to a stop outside the bank, collecting her breath before she passed through the automatic doors.
