The three members of the so-called Legion of Doom entered their lair with the completed Spear of Destiny, taken from the optimistically named Legends, in hand. All three were eager to change reality to their own desires.
Funnily enough all three had similar ideas for the new reality.
Eobard Thawne aka The Reverse-Flash and long time enemy of Barry Allen aka The Flash. He'd gotten taken from the Timeline when his nemesis had prevented him from killing the heroes mother. But now his plans had taken on a more perverted take.
Malcolm Merlyn aka Al-Ser-Her aka The Dark Archer, nemesis of Oliver Queen aka The Green Arrow. He'd been taken from the timeline by Thawne just after watching the death of Damien Darhk at Oliver's hand. Now having discovered the spear his thoughts had changed considerably.
And finally Lex Luthor, the nemesis of Superman and Supergirl who'd been taken from his prison cell on Earth-38 when Thawne offered him the means to revenge on the Kryptonians. And revenge he would have.
Thawne looked at Merlyn as he held the Spear. "Did you get the book?" he asked the archer. Malcolm smirked as held up the old book in his robotic hand. "Did you doubt me?" he asked cockily.
Luthor smirked and said "Well lets get started. We've waited years for this opportunity."
"Patience, Lex, patience. As you said we've this long, we can stand to wait a few more minutes." Thawne told him calmly before saying "Get to your positions and focus on the world you want. Malcolm prepare to read."
The three villains moved to stand in a triangle with the staff held between them. They all took hold as Malcolm began to read. As he read the ancient words the staff began to glow brighter and brighter until it was almost blinding and suddenly there was a bright Flash and everything changed.
