Jasmine sighed with relief. She was expecting to have to fight or bargain with the Cave for what she wanted, but it seemed that wasn't going to be necessary. She stepped forward into the gaping maw of the cave, walking carefully down the winding staircase that formed from its tongue as she did.
Once she was inside, the princess was immediately taken aback by all the treasures that were scattered around the cave. She knew that Aladdin had been in there before and probably took some things, but she thought that he was exaggerating the beauty and scale of this place when he had described it. But it seemed that he was not. There were piles and piles of gold and jewels that seemed to stretch as far as she could see.
Jasmine looked around and found a difficult to reach area that was filled with four items on pedestals that looked more magical than normal.
"What do we have here?" She said to herself as she began to examine each of them.
She had no idea what each of these artifacts did or if any of them were even useful to her. But she had a gut feeling that one of them would be just what she needed.
"What could these be used for?" The princess said as she looked at a ornate scepter with a crystal orb at the top that was standing upright. Looking at other pedestals she found a pair of gauntlets that seemed to be made of glass with a whitish glow emanating from them. Besides that there was a small bottle filled with a strange glowing green liquid. The last pedestal had on it a mask that seemed to change its appearance when she was looking at it.
Jasmine could only ponder what their uses were and if she was even worthy to use them. She looked at the ornate items examining them.
"You will know when the time is right. Take what you wish." The Cave boomed, as if answering her unasked question.
Looking around cautiously, Jasmine deftly opened the bag she entered with and went to grab
