"You sure this works?" Vaike asked, unsure of Miriel's plan.
"Absolutely, of my research is correct this spell will strengthen the bonds between us" Miriel proudly holding the spellbook on her hands.
"I still think grabbing a pint was a better idea" he said, preferring the normal way of forming relationships.
"Nonsense, nothing beats magical prowess, now stay still as I cast the spell" she started casting it, an intense glowing coming out of it, covering both of them, when the light reached him, Vaike felt like every part of him was being rip in half, pulled from his body and thrown aside, as soon as that feeling stopped he felt unconscious.
-----
"Ugh" Vaike groaned as he woke up, when he opened his eyes he noticed everything seemed blurry, he rubbed his eyes to see if that would fix it but nothing happened, he still saw everything blurry.
"Oh no, I didn't forsee this!" a gruff voice said, he had a feeling he had heard it before.
"Who's there?" he asked, blindly extending his arms towards the noise.
"I see, you lost my glasses, I think I have another pair here" Vaike could feel the strange voice touched him, feeling he now had now diffrent clothes but that wasn't the only odd thing he felt, the blurry vision went away but what he saw almost made him wish it didn't, in front of him was an exact replica of himself.
"Gah! Why do you look like the Vaike!" he shouted, pointing at the impostor.
"Could you not refer to yourself in third person while in my body? You make me look like an idiot"
"Your body?" that catched his curiosity, Vaike decided to look back at himself, regretting the choice immediately, instead of his muscular body he found a scrawny body covered in black robes, the red hair he saw gave him a good idea if what happened, but just to be sure he took a hand to his head, finding a ridiculously large hat resting there. "Why am I Miriel!?" he asked, shocked by the sudden transformation.
"You're not me, you just have my physical appearance" Miriel calmly stated, "I seems my bonding spell has an unfortunate side effect"
"Can you undo it?" Vaike asked, touching his now slender arms, there was no way he could swing an axe with these twigs.
"Of course I can, what kind of mage would I be if I wasn't ready for situations like this one" she picked up the book that had fallen next to them and began reading the book.
