In the latter half of the 1960s, "moth men" were sighted in the US state of West Virginia. The creatures were described as human like beings with glowing red eyes and wingspans of three meters or more.
Wildlife biologist Robert L. Smith at West Virginia University told reporters that descriptions and sightings all fit the sandhill crane, a large American crane almost as high as a man with a two and a half meter wingspan featuring circles of reddish coloring around the eyes, and that the bird may have wandered out of its migration route. This particular crane was unrecognized at first because it was not native to this region.
Though myths about these so called moth men circulated into popular culture, none were even found. Not even the Monstr app had any profiles of moth men for its users to left or right swipe. If moth men do exist, they're not availing themselves of the benefits of social media.
Moth women are a different matter altogether, though.
Found only in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, moth women stand approximately fourteen centimeters tall, and have wings almost identical to that of a lunar moth. It is quite possible that they have been spotted and mistaken for a lunar moth. They are quite shy, and capable of blending into any background, and are capable of causing their wings to appear and disappear at will.
Moth women have the same coloring as the First Nation people who first inhabited Saskatchewan, and have the same long, dark hair. Moth women faces, though, are more round than those of First Nation people, making them look more Latina. Moth women tend to be slender but busty, and wear simple one garbs the same color as their wings.
Our story begins with a moth woman named Chepi, who became interested in the few humans who made it to the secluded area where she and her friends lived. As chance would have it, a hiker lost their phone, and after experimenting with it, Chepi accidentally found the Monstr App. After much internal debate, she created a profile. Her first date is going to be with a human named
