The door flew open almost immediately, as if Nataly had been waiting for it to ring. But then again, Dalango reminded himself, he had just texted her, so she probably was.
"Dalango, it's so good to finally meet you in person," Nataly beamed as she extended a hand. "Um, it is okay if we shake hands, isn't it?"
"Oh, yes, of course, absolutely," Dalango said as he extended on of his tentacles, lightly wrapping it around the extended hand. Dalango forced himself to keep the contact to a minimum. He didn't know much about humans, but he knew most of them were not as tactile oriented as his own species. His brief contact with Nataly's hand was amazing. Her skin was the smoothest and softest thing he had ever touched.
"Oh, your fur is so soft," Nataly beamed. "I could just hug you and squeeze you, you're so cute."
Dalango's skin turned red enough that it was slightly visible through his fur. He wanted to tell Nataly that she was more than welcome to, but another thing he had learned about humans is they didn't always mean what they said.
Instead, he asked, "So, um, did you decided where you would like to go?" He had sent her a list of choices, so that she could pick the one that was most human compatible.
