Despite the two's efforts Mary still didn't budge and Mary's mother stopped pulling and phoned her other daughter,Suzy and Mary's best friends Sarah and Jennifer. While the two waited for help to arrive Mary asked her mother,"mum", "have you ever gotten stuck before" ,"a few times"," actually" replied Mary's mother "but the most embarrassing was when I was 18 and I got my head stuck in a tree trunk, a dog ripped my jeans and it took six people to pull me out." The two then started to laugh at the story.
Soon all the three helpers arrived and after Mary explained the situation a chain was formed with Mary's mother pulling her hips,Suzy pulling her mother's waist while Sarah pulled Suzy, Jennifer pulled Sarah and Mary pushed. Everyone pulled and pushed with all their strength until finally POP Mary was pulled from the pipe and everyone flew backwards and landed in a heap on the ground. now unstuck at last, Mary then thanked everyone for their help before everyone went off together to enjoy some lunch.
